From the early days of INetU, during the dawn of the hosting industry, we were known for our dedication to making clients happy. Since 1996, INetU has seen a lot change in technology, the economy and the world around us. However our dedication to providing great service to our clients has remained constant.
As the company has grown, maintaining and improving service levels always remains important to us. When it comes to hiring and on-boarding new INetU team members, a love of technology is not enough. We desire an ‘INetU attitude’ that we want to see in people who join our team. Over time we boiled it down to three company values.

Charles Henderson, a partner guest speaker from Trustwave, presented on the 2011 Trustwave Global Security Report. He enlightened the audience with many startling security statistics and trends. The Global Security Report is based on findings and evidence from work conducted by Trustwave’s SpiderLabs. There were more than 200 investigations and 2,000 penetration test results that contributed to the analysis and conclusions.

Steve Goldsby finished up the ITX DSS presentations with a topic on social engineering. Social engineering occurs when a person manipulates sensitive information from another person. Basically it’s a trick that gets you past typical security measures. This is a hot topic in the security realm because people tend to follow their instincts instead of using security precautions.

Our third speaker at the ITX Data Security Summit was Gerry Elman from Elman Technology Law, who asked the question: “Are You Legally Prepared for the Coming Cyber War?” He also chose a sub-topic even more relevant to the audience: “Preparing Your Legal Playbook In Anticipation of Data Security Breaches.”
